In cooperation with the Iraq Culture and Development Foundation and during the 3rd online conference on the reality of educational problems and mental disorders in the Iraqi schools via the Zoom platform, College of Basic Education, University of Al-Mustansiriyah reviewed educational problems facing teachers, psychological problems for first-graders, the role of evaluation in learning and education, teaching methods and their importance in developing the educational process, programmed education in the primary stage, religious awareness in schools and health and sporting aspects of first-graders, as well as the contributions of civil society organizations towards schools, President of the University, Dr. Hameed Fadhil Al-Temimi said. Dr. Al-Temimi added that online conference recommended addressing all psychological and social crises that students suffer from that affect their scientific level, the importance of facing educational problems, supporting the continuing professional development of teachers, especially in the field of employing information and communication technology in the educational process, encouraging them to implement e-learning methods and investing social media networks to enhance the permanence of continuity and solidarity with their students during summer and to find real solutions to all educational and psychological problems. For her part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Eman Abbas Al-Khaffaf reviewed that holding the conference during the current time is an achievement and a first step for the college in the new stage that the world is witnessing of e-learning as well as benefiting from the conference’s recommendations in finding effective solutions to the problems of the educational institutions and students.
