Environmental Research Center, University of Babylon organized a symposium on the optimal use of water and improving health practices in Iraq.
The symposium, in which a number of students and faculty members participated, reviewed rationing of water consumption, exploiting of rainwater, groundwater as a non-invested resource and purifying of sewage water and remove contaminants to be used in agriculture and industry.
The symposium called on consuming of water, using water as alternative sources of energy and reducing water pollution by using the latest methods of purification, desalination and removing sediment.
