During an honoring ceremony of the winners of Network of Iraqi Scientists Abroad (NISA) held by the Directorate of Research and Development, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib stressed on the importance of employing researches, their results, archiving and referring them to State’s specialized institutions in the agricultural, medical, humanitarian, engineering, pure sciences and global cooperation fields. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib reviewed that supporting this aspect represents an opportunity for scientific investment, capacity building, motivation, interaction, scientific addition, as well as the ability of Iraqi researchers to possess solid tools, to engage in various scientific research spaces, provide scientific, technical and technical solutions and formulate innovations and patents. His Excellency expressed the Ministry appreciation to NISA for the cooperation, integration and cross-fertilization of ideas with researchers in Iraqi universities. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib highlighted that the winning researchers reviewed the tracks of their research, which were distributed in the fields of agriculture, electricity, combating desertification, cancer cell tests and renewable energy. It is worth mentioning that the Network of Iraqi Scientists Abroad (NISA) notified with a letter to His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib on January 29, 2021, expressing its desire to launch a new version of the NISA Award for the best Iraqi scientific research in 2020 in the fields of the natural, medical, engineering, agricultural, social and human sciences described the policy of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in developing research and scientific production as correct one.
