College of Pharmacy, University of Karbala organized an online training course on recent developments in manufacturing of insulin and the treatment of diabetes patients. The online course reviewed the most important statistics for diabetics and what types of insulin pens are short-acting and fast-acting, as well as long-acting and intermediate-acting insulin. The online course demonstrated the most important modern methods used in the treatment of diabetes, represented by insulin pumps that are available globally, as they are one of the modern technologies to help patients with small amounts of diabetes according to the doctor’s instructions.
